Bottle. Lost Coast Imperial Stout (Reserve). Blackish beer with a light brown head. Rich malt and dried fruit aroma with caramel and chocolate. Chocolate and caramel flavor with dried fruit. Medium bodied. Chocolate and caramel linger with dried fruit and light spice.

Loast Coast Peanut Butter Milk Stout 5.6% Inky cola black with a thin tan head and a rich sweet milk chocolate and peanut butter aroma. Pretty full bodied with lots of roasty notes and sweet chocolate flavor. Pretty good.

Super hazy golden and blonde coloured body with a very large, six to seven centimetre pure white head off-white head that stays afloat for a while and fades very slowly over time. Aroma of citrus, orange, hay, flowers, light malt and deep pepper spice. Light to Medium-bodied; Strong dry and herbal flavours dominate with a light grassy hop characteristic and some soft sweetness on the edge from the citrus juiciness, with a light touch of the very spicey and peppery noites toward the end that gives this some complexity and range that tingles down the palate at the end. Aftertaste is dry, fairly hoppy, all without many alpha acids or traditional bitterness, but giving some nice range in terms of the hops at play. Overall, a pretty dry and herbal, yet spicey (from the black pepper) IPA that almost shows more of a saison or biere de garde flavour than that especially of a New England IPA, but complex, interesting and robust, while not being totally on par for the style, a worthy drink, especially with some complex hoppiness. I sampled this stubby, twelve ounce bottle purchased from Total Wine in Manassas, Virginia on 12-August-2020 for US$2,29 sampled at my house here in Washington on 31-August-2020. 

Pours hazy yellow, medium small, yet stable white head. Scent is citrus, mild pine and distant stonefruit. Taste is medium full, doesn't seem super fresh as the maltyness has a mild cardboard aspect. Citric, green, grassy hops. Medium body, relatively creamy for a session, with medium carbonation. Fine bitterness is balanced and works with the beer. As of now, a decent (nothing more) session. Perhaps this is a bit old trough import, wasnt always stored cold, etc, and it's better fresh ? This one is best before may 2021, drank september 27th 2020.

Orange and some pineapple. Murky orange pour with decent head and lacing. Candied apple. Some booze in the finish. Easy drinking and pleasant enough. Not much body here and no bitterness. Boozy sweet on the end. Bottle.

Tangerine caramel and some pine. Pours golden with good head and lacing. Light bitterness and some caramel sweetness. Can.

Lost Coast Revenant IPA 7% Nice orange color with a stone fruit hop bouquet and a hefty dose of malt. Full bodied and smooth with caramel and piney bitterness. I think it’s got hints of ocidation but overall ok.

12 ounce bottle from Jim's Foodmart, 6/21/20. A big wave of dank as I open the bottle. Much missed. Hazy orange, large fizzy tan head, good retention. Aroma of grain, orange, dank. Taste is toasted malt, orange, grapefruit, lemon, dank. Medium bodied, moderate bitterness. Old school. Much missed.

Can. Hazy amber beer with a cream head. Summer fruit and light tropical fruit aroma. Summer fruit and orange flavor. Medium bodied. Good bitterness. Summer fruit and orange linger with light tropical fruit.

12 ounce can. Amber gold pour. Large frothy beige head. Bold fruity hop nose hints at dark berries, stone fruit and grapefruit. Intense dank citrus and pine upfront. Sweet grapefruit and stone fruit notes. Boozy notes in finish. Complex and satisfying. Pure West Coast DIPA.
