Description
David Cole and Peter Erickson are the founders and co-owners of Epic Brewing Company. Cole and Erickson, originally from California, started an international aquaculture company in Utah in 1992. In 2008, Utah law changed allowing these two entrepreneurs to pursue their longtime dream of opening a strong beer microbrewery in Utah, like those they frequented in the Golden State.
Admittedly, beer geeks, foodies, and "Epic" adventure junkies, share a passion for making and drinking fine ales and lagers. The Epic team has a strong belief in doing everything "all out."

Bottle thanks to Douglas. Pours a clear pinkish red with a white head that had a pink hue and dissipates to the edges. Aroma is full of cherries with a slight note of earthy of grains and a bit of oak as well. Flavor has much more earthy notes with grain and bread backed by a light cherry note and a good amount of oak. Solid.

22oz bottle-thanks to jtclockwork for sharingโpours a foamy off white head and hazy yellow color. Aroma is musty peach, wood, bread. Taste is lots of carbonation up front before any flavor. Peaches in alcohol, light malt/wheat, some hops balance. 7//4/6/2/12=3.1 Swirling to take down overwhelming carbonation. 7/4/7/4/13=3.5

Courtesy of dougla88. Bomber pours deep mahogany with mocha head. The aroma is earthy chocolate like coffee and some malt balls. The taste is rich and sweet with molasses covered chocolate brownie and earthy roasty coffee goodness. Tasty stuff. โnuff said.

Drank this in a van down by the river. Bomber courtesy of douglas88. Pours hazy amber with copper hues and tan head with some spotty lacing. The aroma is kind of apples, pears, blueberries and yeasty spice rolling into a rye loaf of bread. The taste is an estery, malt roasty and mildly earthy mix to start with. It then morphs a bit as the carbonation enhances some spicy malt and spicy yeast notes. It gets a touch dry thanks to some malt roastiness into the finish.

Release #1 bomber courtesy of douglas88. Pours murky purple / red / copper with white to pink hued head. The aroma is dusty and somewhat tart with yeastiness and a sense of cherries. The taste begins sweet with estery notes like apricot, pear and apple and then followed by some cherry. To midway the cherries and yeasty spiciness take this into the finish. Not sure I dug this one.

Bomber courtesy of douglas88. Pours deep clear gold with effervescently full tall white head. The aroma offers up spicy yeast, prickly anise and some vague fruitiness that is likely the peach intermingling with various fruity ester notes. The taste has a nice load of seemingly fresh peach followed by a bit of spicy anise, tart yeasty spice, sugar sweetness and getting more and more sweet nectar like into the finish.

Bomber courtesy of douglas88. Pours clear gold with thin white head. The aroma is thick apricot, apple and some pear fruitiness to go along with a lesser amount of grainy maltiness. The taste is similar with robustly sweet and thick mixture of apples, pears and apricot esteriness mixing with some grainy malts.
