About
David Cole and Peter Erickson are the founders and co-owners of Epic Brewing Company. Cole and Erickson, originally from California, started an international aquaculture company in Utah in 1992. In 2008, Utah law changed allowing these two entrepreneurs to pursue their longtime dream of opening a strong beer microbrewery in Utah, like those they frequented in the Golden State.
Admittedly, beer geeks, foodies, and "Epic" adventure junkies, share a passion for making and drinking fine ales and lagers. The Epic team has a strong belief in doing everything "all out."

Bomber. Aroma has notes of mint, chocolate, wood, coffee. Pours black with a collapsing tan head. Taste is bittersweet with chocolate mint flavors. Uncomplicated and delicious.

Enjoyed on tap, 13 oz pour at Hop and Hound. Dense, near black pour, chocolate tan foam head that fades. Loylts of cocoa and whiskey on the nose. Hot indications. Smooth taste, bold dark chocolate, coffee roast, caramel, smooth and warming whiskey tones late. Small trades of brown sugar. Lots of spice like character, but all subtle underneath a big and bold whiskey stout. Overall another incredible addition to the series here.

650 ml bottle. Pours black with moderate tan head. Aromas of dark chocolate, vanilla and roasted malts. Flavours of rich chocolate, soft oaky whiskey, nougat, coconut, and sharp roasted malts. Alcohol obvious in finish which is a bit distracting.

Bomber. Aroma has notes of bourbon, chocolate, wood, vanilla, coconut. Pours like motor oil with a thin collapsing tan head. Taste is moderately sweet with significant bitterness. Perfectly carbonated velvety mouthfeel. Quality.

Taster at Growler Guys. Black pour, relatively flat, thin beige ring. Boozy, woody aroma, spicy. Taste is roasty, chocolate, peppery, strong. Dry, mouth coating.

Bomber. Aroma has notes of chocolate, berries, coffee, dark bread. Pours black with a half finger tan head with decent retention. Taste is bittersweet with jammy, chocolate, coffee flavors. Only a hint of whiskey barrel. Perfectly carbonated full mouthfeel. I really like this.

Bomber. Aroma has notes of chocolate, coconut, wood, cherry, vanilla. Pours inky black with a half finger beige foam that collapses into a ring pretty quickly. Taste is moderately bittersweet with a faint hint of tartness and tastes like Black Forest Cake a little bit I guess. The coconut note starts out pretty faint, but becomes very obvious after warming up a bit. Pretty good.
