Draught at the Alibi Room, Vancouver
Hazy blond colour. Light aroma and flavour of white bread, a bit stale. Bitterness is almost absent.
Offensive in how somebody thinks this is craft beer.

Draught at the brewery
Dark brown colour, near black. Mild aroma of minty and resiny hops. Lean mouthfeel, mild roasted malts, prominent bitterness, with some minty character.
Ok CDA, clean, nothing that will be remembered.

Taster at Alibi Room with Alex. Pours a hazy blonde with a weak white head. Aroma is malty and some flowers from hops. Similar taste. It's ok.

Aroma is soft musty hops. Has a cloudy orange brown body with just a littlr foam. Flavour is mellow hops without much of any malt. Medium finish. An average IPA.

Orange liquid with a bit of fog and no foam. Soft orange hops on the nose. Taste is more orange hops and nothing else. Kind of a watery mouthfeel. This one is a bit of a miss.

On tap at Tap & Barrel Convention centre. Yellowy head and white modest foam, good mellow grain aroma. Flavour is lager with some sweet lemon backing it up. Wet on the mouth but that is okay. Not bad, refreshing.

On Tap at BCBA. Pours a clear gold with moderate head. Aromas of grain. Flavors of grain and pilsner malt. don't get much dry hopping.

This was the official BCBA beer, and I had it at the fest. Chill haze, thick head, sort of skunky, with heavy pale malts, not much bitterness. Ok golden ale, but I don't find any Kolsch-like qualities.

Hazy, more of a tan colour. Thin head. Yeasty, kind of autolyzed aroma. Quite a bit of coriander. Still some autolysis in there but the coriander and malt sweetness are the most prominent characteristics.
