Weak copper body with little foam, the aroma is soft cola notes on malt grain. Flavour is bright crisp and balanced with good malt notes. Mouthfeel is excellent, dry and oily in all the right places. This is decent, a well made pale ale.

Cask at the 8 x 8 Langley cask festival. Soft blackberry aroma, some good caskey dark purple liquid and very vague foam. Flavour is bitter blackberry with some good sourness. Mouthfeel is dry anyway. It's not bad, very juicy.

Lightish clear yellow body and little foam, sharp hops on the nose, good. Flavour is plenty of sharp hops, sweetness, citrus, sugar. Adequate, alcohol isn't missed.

Clearish yellow body and almost no foam, smells maybe of almond floor cleaner with hints of hops. Flavour is lots of tartness, plenty of sour hints, but I can't pick out the amaretto at all. Blasée really, otherwise a standard sour.

Nice clearish pink and okay foam, soft fruit tannins on the nose. Flavour is reasonable tannins, soft sweetness. Medium on the mouth. Okay though also rather mediocre.

Milky yellow body and minor foam, soft rancid lemon and lots of salt on the nose. Flavour is sharp gose acid and plenty of salt. Medium finish but really there's nothing here beyond a regular gose. Drinkable though hardly memorable.

Clear yellow body and okay foam, good cucumber and lemon on the nose so thanks for that. Flavour is nice cucumber, fresh and slightly sweet, sorry to the haters but this is actually done right. Nice crispness and carbonation on the mouth. Really nice, balanced, a gem that reminds me why I still try the beers here.

Middling clear yellow body and okay foam, soft white wine and hop notes on the nose. Flavour is chewy hops and sweet sugariness. Full enough on the mouth. Not bad at all, though also not too exciting.

Good dark brown-black body and modest beige foam, sharp chocolate and sweet barley on the nose. Flavour is sweet barley and nothing else, no hops. More of a sweet stout than a schwarzbier, too chewy, no hops. Oh Foamer's folly, never change - just keep pumping those average beers out.

Yellow light clear body and minor foam, smells of warmed up Belgian cheese. I could use some crackers. Flavour is a surprisingly bright and fresh watermelon but nothing else - the wheat ale must be stuck in London because of the strikes. Or Hong Kong. Crisp carbonation. Single minded but okay.
