A bright, tropical stone-fruit punch up front with a cracker-dry pilsner and wheat malt bill. Nicely balanced. This batch seems to be much improved over previous years. Recommended.

On tap at Foamers' Folly, pours a cloudy golden orange with a tiny white head. Aroma has soft, floral plum notes, some oak, and a touch of wild yeast. Flavour has soft plum, light-to-moderate acidity, and some odd yogurty character. Lacking complexity and integration. Not great.

On tap at Foamers' Folly, pours an opaque bright hot pinkish red with a small white head. Aroma brings out lots of wild yeast, gentle oak, and tart jammy currant. Flavour has suitably tart jammy berries, nice wild yeast, and a touch of foeder character. Not hugely complex but the wild yeast is used reasonably and there’s no off-notes—which, after the last bunch of nonsense I tried from these guys, this is working for me.

On nitro tap at Foamers' Folly, pours a muffled dark brown with a medium beige head. Aroma is fairly laid-back, with soft earthiness and toasted malt. Flavour is soft, with toasted malt, maybe a touch of cocoa. Not much to speak about here. Inoffensive but drinkable.

On tap at Foamers' Folly, pours a deep dark brown with a small beige head. Aroma has a strange glue-like malt character, with toasted malt and some weird earthiness. Flavour is somewhat fruity, with a more subdued glue-like character to the malt, light fruitiness, and earthiness. Not authentic at all and seems to have some issues. Not great.

4.1/10 Appearance 5 Aroma 4 Flavor 4 Texture 4 Overall 4
On tap at Foamers' Folly, pours a clear yellowish blonde with a small white head. Aroma has plenty of saline, light lemon, and yogurty lacto. Flavour is full of yogurt—bleh, that’s pretty egregious—with a touch of lemon and light salinity. Pretty damn bad.

3/10 Appearance 4 Aroma 3 Flavor 3 Texture 3 Overall 2.5
On tap at Foamers' Folly, pours an opaque full golden with a small white head. Nose has a totally muddled hop expression, with earthiness, weird car exhaust, ugh. Flavour is perhaps even more incompetent, with totally muffled, earthy hops, sweet caramel, and a totally clumsy balance. Poor hop expression, poor balance, terrible clarity. Totally incompetent.

473ml can. Pours a bright hazy orange red with a small, fizzy, short lived, pink head that leaves spotty lacing. Aroma of grainy wheat malt, red wine, funky yeast and oak. Sweet fruity flavour of grainy wheat malt, blueberry, raspberry, red wine, yogurt, funky yeast and oak in a crisp, dry, acidic, sour finish. Medium body with an oily to watery texture and lively carbonation. Fruity with some complexity. Not bad.

473ml can. Pours a hazy orange gold with a medium, foamy, long lasting, white head that leaves sticky curtains of soapy lace. Sweet fruity aroma of crackery pale malt, orange, mango, cantaloupe and floral hops. Sweet fruity flavour of grainy pale malt, grapefruit, apricot, pineapple and light piney hops in a dry, mild bitter finish. Medium body with a sticky, oily texture and soft carbonation. Juicy and enjoyable.
