Jet black with a rich light brown head. Minty chocolate. Mint chocolate with some liquorice in the finish. Not bad.

Has very good nitro foam and great hazy dark yellow body, smells of soft sweet hops, too faint. Flavour is nice floral notes, hints of orange zest, smooth and a little wet. It's okay, mellow, easy.

Very nice black body and good foam, smells more like mint and chocolate than absinthe but still quite nice like after 8 chocolates. Flavour is nice deep sweet chocolatey biscuit with a mint kick, it doesn't exude absinthe at all. Crisp and full, quite enjoyable as a mint stout.

Has okay clear orange and modest foam, smells of chewy sweet hoppy grain, slight candy. Flavour is okay saison character, peppery grain, sweetness. Mouthfeel is too watery, modest carbonation. A little underwhelming saison.

I had an absinthe coffee in Prague once, and it was really one of the worst things I've ever tasted. So now it's in beer form! Medium brown. The aroma has a strong herbal note and some fudgey chocolate stuff. More like chocolate mint than coffee absinthe, thankfully. On the palate, again more of the chocolate but less mint and more of the herbal absinthe. Lots of bitterness, not surprisingly. A bit of chocolatey sweetness as well. Ends up being pretty good.

473 ml can. Pours a very dark brown with moderate tannish head. Aromas of mint, playdough, dark chocolate and thin roasted malts. Lighter flavors follow same but with prominent mint . Bitter finish. Thin, but consistent with the ABV. Can get the mint flavor out of my mouth - so yah, a bit much there...

Light clear yellow body and some modest foam, earthy muddy citrus on the nose, that must be the yarrow and it's musty. Flavour is bitter citrus, softly bright fruit, vague hints of pineapple and banana. Nice carbonation and bitter fruit lingers. Not too bad, a reasonable meld of hefe and yarrow.

Nice clear light gold body and average foam, very faint mandarin orange on the nose. Flavour is soft hops, a little dry. Good clean mouthfeel and abv is invisible. Easy to drink but lacking character.

Nice chewy hops on the nose, very piney, has okay muddy gold body and decent foam. Flavour is good piney hops, chewy, some maltiness. Nice oily chunky finish. Nothing too amazing but still a fun IPA to drink.
