On tap at Foamers Folly, pours a clear pale yellow with a small white head. Aroma brings out herbal, grassy notes, and vegetal notes. Flavour is quite herbal and vegetal, with crunchy herbal hops and vegetal notes. A bit too vegetal but it's decent overall.

On tap at Foamers Folly, pours a hazy dull blonde with a small white head. Aroma brings out lots of rosemary upfront with little else to speak of. Flavour is along the same lines, with nothing but rosemary showing. Very pleasant, but nothing special. Meh.

Dark amber to brown color. It’s a watered Brown Ale, but it has a mild bready character and it’s clean; light roastiness; not too dry, so the body is strong enough.
Easy beer, but easily pleasing the crowd of dark beer drinkers.

Pretty hard to go wrong with the 6th-best brewery in Vancouver, right? Ok sure, they don’t know what a Scottish Ale is supposed to taste like, don’t have any concept of quality control, knowingly sell bad beer to people, haven’t made adequate investment in either their kit or the people behind it, but fuck yeah, 6th best. Please stop embarrassing yourself with this thin, boozy, fusel-laden, infected garbage.

On tap at St. Augustine's, pours a clear pale copper with a small white head. Aroma smells very sweet, with notes of maple and caramel. Flavour is fairly sweet, with light maple, toasted caramel and bready malt. Finishes lightly sweet and maple-y. It's decent.

On tap at St. Augustine's, pours a cloudy amber with a small off-white head. Aroma brings out toasted bready malt, bittering hops and no trace of honey. Rather herbal and vegetal, with a harsh astringency on the finish. Not brewed well at all - confused and harsh.

Amber color, hazy. Some caramel and grains, not too dry, the residual sweetness hides a bit the traces of pithy bitterness, light Fruity esters, and a mild metallic feeling in the final.
So and so, I don’t like the pithy bitterness, otherwise it’s drinkable.

On tap at the brewery. Dark golden with a tan head. Aroms is candied tropical fruits and some floral notes. Taste is pretty the same, quites and boozy. Looks like the base for this beer is their Double IPA or vise versa as they are quite similar, barley wine is just more sweet and boozy. Very good and pleasant.
