Good malt and pine, a decent west coast IPA. Haven't seen a beer with Galena in a while, but I'm down for some old school bitterness.

Dark brown. Medium head. Aroma is on the chocolate, cocoa side of things. Good body, not super rich but balanced. A touch of alcohol late because it's an imperial stout. There's some residual sugar but not much, so it's not super rich, but nor is it overly dry. It's not the most complex imperial stout but at least it has a decent sense of balance.

On a flight in the Churchills (Vancouver Island) on 14th August 2025. Almost clear amber body, off-white head. Malt forward with orchard fruit leanings. Nice, easy going O'Fest style beer, good way to end a citrussy laden flight.

Dull pale. Thin head. Yeasty, okay, hops don’t really get there. Decent…but just that.

473 ml can. Pours a hazy amber with moderate head. Aromas of melons, orange pith, thick sweetened fruit juice and wheaty malts. Flavors follow same with emphasis on orange juice. Just another Hazy

Lemon peel and a little suntan lotion. Hopefully this unnamed hop variety doesn't taste like Sabro. Hazy yellow pour with decent head. Cleanish finish. Strawlike almost. Can.

On tap at The Magnet, pours a clear golden with a medium white head. Nose is crisp, with grassy hops, biscuity malt, and light spiciness. Flavour is crisp, with spicy Saaz notes, biscuity malt, and straw. Crisp, spicy, and clean. Good stuff.

473mL can. Pours murky pale blonde with white head. Aroma has fresh grass, a bit of spicy sharpness, and soft, doughy malts. Flavour has straw, fresh grass, and doughy malts. No hoppy bite to speak of. Quite enjoyable fresh hop lager.
