Draft. Murky pinkish red color, off white edge head. Aroma of raspberry cheesecake. Taste is softly sour raspberries, cherries, lemons, subtle salt. Delicious.

Tap, many thanks to the guys at Funky Buddha! It pours cloudy light yellow, with a thick white head. The nose is tart, fresh passion fruit, orange and mango. The taste is passion fruit, eggy sourness (akin to a whiskey sour), tart lemon, orange, nectarine, mango, wheat and lactic acid with a dry-tart finish. Medium body, fine carbonation and high acidity. Crisp, juicy and refreshing. Balance is perfect. A brilliant berliner.

Tap at Funky Buddha. It pours cloudy, very pale light orange, with pretty much no head. The nose is tart, wheat, hint of peach, sweat and some feta cheese. The taste is tart, mouth-puckering peach, lemon, pineapple (akin to pineapple chunk sweets), feta cheese, Granny Smith apple and cloudy lemonade, with a tart finish. Medium body, fine, prickly carbonation and slightly sticky mouth-feel. Medium-high acidity. A delicious neo-Berliner Weisse.

Tap at Funky Buddha. It pours cloudy deep red, with a large beige head. The nose is dark fruit, leather and chocolate. The taste is caramel, red fruit, wood, leather, milk chocolate and spice, with some dryness in the finish. Medium body and prickly carbonation. Not bad, but nothing special.

Tap at Funky Buddha. It pours very dark brown, with a tan head. The nose is dark chocolate, roasted malt, rye bread and spice. The taste is roasted malt, charcoal, rye bread, bitter chocolate, spice, touch of lactose (but not as much as anticipated) and metal, with a dry, roasty finish. Medium body and fine, prickly carbonation. An ok porter, but below average in comparison to their other beers.

Tap at Funky Buddha. It pours clear deep amber, with a thick off-white head. The nose is leather, wood, caramel and brown bread. The taste is caramel malt, leather, grass, resin, burnt tire, toast and warming alcohol, with a long bitter finish. Medium body and moderate carbonation. Decent, but a bit too malty.

Tap at Funky Buddha. It pours hazy golden yellow, with a thick white head. The nose is spice, sweet banana, hint of honey, bubblegum and farmyard. The taste is dough, citrus pith, pepper, quite a bit of spice, banana, straw, farmyard and honey, with a dry, spicy finish. Medium body, moderate carbonation and velvety mouth-feel. A well-made saison, but it didn’t blow me away.

Tap at Funky Buddha. It pours clear golden yellow, with a fizzy white head. The nose is green banana on the verge of turning yellow, wheat, honey and some spice. The taste is banana (on the green side), subtle tartness, orange, wheat, dough and touch of spice, with a dry, slightly tart finish. Medium body, moderate carbonation and soft mouth-feel. Great balance. I didn’t expect to like this, but was pleasantly surprised.

Bottle thanks to ericandersnavy. Pours with a tan head over a hazed brown hued body. Aromas are sweet, cereal, apple, brown sugar, nutty, cinnamon and nutmeg. Very pie like. Not cloying or too heavy. Flavors are nutty, graham crackers, apple, cinnamon, nutty, caramel, nutmeg. Very nice flavors. Like a light version of a Rocky Mountain Brewing Co beer. Medium bubbles, not too oppressive on the finish. Good!

Draft at Peg’s. Very pale yellow color, white coca cola head. Aroma of pineapples forgotten in grandma’s attic and discovered weeks later. Taste is hard candy made from those pineapples. Tasty stuff.
