A blonde hefeweizen with a thin white head. A chalky banana aroma with light honey and rubber. In mouth, a sweet honey banana with loads of vanilla, a bit cloying. Bottle shared with Orlando crew, Jan. 6 2011.

Tasted at the big “SeaBass has got to go” tasting courtesy of jdubFL. The growler pours mahogany with tan head. The aroma is nice and yum with rich coffee and a little bit of vanilla mixing with roasted to dark roasted malts. The taste is thin but rich with coffee, burnt malts, maple, more coffee and toward caramel maple syrup. It is almost tart with the degree and level of dark to burnt malts and coffee that are attained.

Que dire de cette bière? tout simplement fantastique et reste une des meilleures de la nuit, loin devant certains grands noms de cette soirée. De couleur brune foncée, léger col beige. Arôme est fantastique, café est partout donnant des notes de moka, café au lait, malt grillé à souhait. Sans oublier le sirop d’érable qui est appréciable. En bouche, chacunes des gorgées donnent quasi une forme orgasmique à cette bière. Tout y est subtilement bien arrangé, allant du sirop d’érable qui est bien plus présent, le bacon donne une fine note de fumé, et de café. Je n’ai pas non plus noté le thé qui est utiliser dans cette bière. J’arrête là car il est difficile de faire justice à cette bière simplement avec cette description. Je suggère donc de la déguster. Seule bémol, je n’ai pas trouver trop de présence du bacon. Ceci étant dit, cette bière demeure une perle de dégustation venant de cette nouvelle micro-brasserie en Floride.

@Rudolph Throwdown-thanks to hopscotch-growler-pours a light brown head and black color. Aroma is coffee grounds/roasty-dark malt, sweet maple. Taste is coffee grounds/chocolate/roasty-dark malt, sweet maple, secondary earthy hops bite. Lots going on. Full body. Not my style but tasty.

Growler. A pitch black beer with a brown head. The aroma has notes of coffee - expresso roast. The flavor is sweet with an acidic edge from the expresso roasted coffee, leading to a dry roasted finish. Nice one.

Growler 32fl.oz.Clear dark red brown color with a large, frothy to creamy, good lacing, fully lasting, beige head. Aroma is heavy malty, coffee, strong coffee, coffee beans, espresso, moderate roasted. Flavor is light heavy sweet and moderate bitter with a long duration, coffee - espresso, light blackberry - coffee tart. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20101122]

32 fl oz bottle. Pours dark brown with a small tan head. Aroma is distinct herbal espresso. Almost like nettles. Mild acidic flavoured, overly espresso, mild toffee and yet without any real sweetness. Ends lingering espresso flavoured, fading rather quickly apart from the coffee notes.

growler @ papsoe tasting black,large smooth light brown head. aroma totally dominated by fresh milled coffee (not brewed, the powder). flavor is lots of coffee, roasted grains, brown sugar. lots of coffee.
