From bottle thanks to Fotis!! Black color with beige head. Malty roasted aroma, chocolate, vanilla, sweet dark red fruity - sweet cherries, bourbon, wood, very light vinous. Sweet and light bitter taste. Medium to full oily body with soft carbonation.

No idea if this rating is in the right place, but here goes. Draft at Salud, but the Untappd listing just says Bourbon Barrel Aged, grey wax. Finisher. Dark brown color scant brown head. Sweet vanilla and bourbon aroma. Taste is boozy and cloyingly sweet. Over the top.

On tap at the brewery. Pours black with small beige head that lasts. The aroma is chocolate and strawberry cream. Medium body, similar flavors to nose, cloying sweetness, boozy, very good.

Keg at Whole Foods Charlottesville. Clear golden, thin creamy white head, good retention. Faint grainy aroma. Taste is lemon and grain. Thin. Good summer beer.

Strong and pronounced maple syrup nose, pecan and bread crust underneath. Cola brown, medium tan head, good lace. Maple syrup, allspice, toast, a little warm. Medium body, easy carbonation. Brilliant!
