Orange and some sort of off taste in the malt. Golden pour with ok head and lacing. Bitter finish. Malty and sweet finish. A hint of unfermented malt and sugar here. Tap at brewery.

Well, this doesn't look great. And there's butter, so those two things are linked by bad fermentation. Um, that's the key to making beer, right? Should have dumped this. The bitterness is nice, but I have no time for diacetyl.

Amber, with a slight haze. Thin head. Bitter and chewy. A bit of stewed fruit character. Not hitting.

Purple. Tart. Lots of berry. Good fruit. Touch of sweetness. No sign of IPA in here anywhere. But it's a good fruit beer.

Pale amber. Slight haze. Thin head. A chewy accent. Moderate bitterness. A bit old school, but without the fun.

Gold, with a slight haze. Bitter, fresh and slightly fruity. Pale malts. Lean. Refreshing. I can dig this.

Medium brown. Lighter body than you would think. The taste is dominated not by rum but by that artificial rum butter squirt thingy you'd use in coffee, if you were the sort of person who would abuse coffee that way. The problem with that pump flavouring is that it's artificial, doesn't integrate with the beer, and is made from diacetyl. So when the beer tastes like that, well, it tastes like a diacetyl bomb. There's no coming back from that.

At tap at the tasting room. Otis is dark brown, medium bodied, and heavy on the coffee. I'm not sure what other breakfast ingredients are in here. Just enough bitterness and the coffee roast is clean but one-dimensional. So it's okay. I like coffee stouts a bit bigger usually but this isn't bad.

Quite murky/opaque. The hops are pretty assertive, lots of allium, that full on overripe fruit thing. So it's really not my pocket of hazy IPA.

Looks good with a nice dark brown body. It's mellow on the palate. Some sweet soft molasses. Simple, but not bad. Maybe just a bit sweet for my taste.
