Medium yellow body and little foam. Chewy candy hops on the nose. Flavour is sweet hops, sugar, a hint of sugarcane plant. Good oiliness on the mouth. Middling but serviceable.

Okay orangey brown body with modest foam, sweet ginger ale aroma. Flavour is more ginger ale, sugary, orange zest. Odd but drinkable.

Nice foam on a heavily carbonated yellow body. Soft sweet grain in the nose, just too faint. Flavour is soft sweet hops. Medium on the mouth. Drinkable but a very average pilsner.

Bottle. Fairly buttery aroma, some citrusy hop notes. Moderate bitterness, some sweet chewy malt. Still a bit of butter underneath of there.

650mL bottle, pours a hazy dull dark copper with a small beige head. Aroma is very malty, with lots of sweet caramel malt, subdued hops. Flavour is very malty, with old school, cardboardy hops, bready malt, and sweet caramel. Old hops, way too malty and just poorly executed. Bad.

On tap at 4 Mile, pours a clear copper with a tiny white head. Aroma brings out earthy coffee grounds upfront, but there is no oomph. Flavour is sweet and coffee-dominated, with a sugary mocha-like coffee characterizing this. No complexity or depth, just a weak, sugary coffee beer. Poor.
mcberko (47456) reviewed Northwest IPA from 4 Mile Brewing Co. 6 years ago

On tap at 4 Mile, pours a clear pale golden blonde with a small white head. Aroma brings out earthy, floral hops upfront that smell a bit old, with plenty of bready malt on the underside. Flavour reveals an astringently bitter piney hop characer, with lots of earthy piney cones, and a lot of bready malt. Not a fan of the hop expression here. Very old school, but not in an overly pleasant way. Alright.
