Bottle at Black Christmas 2018
Cloudy blond colour. Herbal aroma, and flavour, I'm thinking of rosemary and sage veal roast, smooth, lightly sour.
Nice.

750ml bottle at Brian's. Pours a red-ish with weak white head. Aroma is very funky with berries. Similar taste. Nice one.

Bottle - Funky fruit with some light barrel. Cloudy gold with a small white head. Lots of funk and fruit with a subtle mango note. Rest if the fruit is very far in the background, but quite interesting and complex.

Bottle - Funky and weird. Cloudy gold with a decent white head. Funky and a bit roughy, but seriously interesting for a new brewery.

Hazy, light yellow. Thin head. The aroma is earthy, with a light brett character. On the palate, with a big earthy note, quite a bit of brett. Yeasty, balanced, just a touch of sweet pale malt, and definitely a lot of earthy hops - and these aren't earthy hop varietals.

750mL bottle, pours a cloudy golden with a small white head. Aroma brings out lots of brett upfront, with earthy hops, some citrus, and barnyard funk. Flavour is loaded with barnyard funk, with loads of earthy hops, earthy funk, and tons of brett yeast. Lovely use of brett yeast, pretty much entirely subduing the hops. Really nice.

750mL bottle, pours a cloudy bright pinkish orange with a small white head. Aroma brings out bright wild yeast, hibiscus, and light oak. Flavour is along the same lines, with hibiscus, light wild yeast, and a touch of oranges. A bit too bitter and lacking cohesion, also a bit farty. Okay.

Bottle - Earthy flowery notes. Cloudy orange with a decent white head. Light soured pale grains and some hibiscus notes. Muddled.

Pink colour, without much head. On the nose, there's a touch of hibiscus, a light hing note, some clean pale malts, with just a touch of funk. On the palate, seems wheaty and light, with a kiss of hibiscus. There's a dry, bretty sort of tartness, and a woody accent. Great complexity - a hibiscus saison with this much depth, balance and complexity? Wow.

750ml bottle at Erik's. Pours a nice peach rose-ish color with a white head. Aroma is a wet hibiscus wish some slight strange dirty notes. Taste is similar. It's ok.
