On tap at brewery. Pours black with small beige head. Aroma has roasted malts, espresso, notes of chocolate and caramel malts. Flavour dominated by dry roasted malts with some espresso notes. Pretty decent, but the nose was more impressive than the flavour.

On tap at brewery. Pours dark brown with small beige head. Aroma very strongly salted caramel and vanilla. Flavour packs a lot of well-sallted caramel and a bit of coffee. Mouthfeel is thick and syrupy, but quite smooth. Definitely toes the line in terms of heavy-handed dessert flavours, but very enjoyable beer.

On tap at brewery. Pours clear dark gold with small white head. Aroma has a lot of pine and floral notes. Flavour predominantly pine and resin with malt and floral notes; some oily resin lingering on the finish. Mouthfeel could be a bit more aggressive, but was very drinkable as is. Good beer.

473 ml can. Pours a very dark brown with full tan head. Aromas of dark sugars, cocoa and roasted malts. Flavors of sugary chocolate, cream and roasted malts with a hint of cinnamon. Big for the ABV but really sugary.

On tap at The Barley Merchant, pours black with a small tan head. Aroma is soft, with lots of oats, no trace of brown sugar (likely fermented all our), and toasted malt. Flavour brings out plenty of brown sugar, toasted malt, and a touch of oats. A bit sweet but the sturdy malt bill helps it out. Pleasant.

473ml can. Pours a hazy gold orange with a medium, foamy, long lasting, off-white head that leaves curtains of lace. Sweet fruity aroma of bready wheat malt, tangerine, apricot and light piney hops. Sweet fruity flavour of bready wheat malt, grapefruit, mango, apricot, pine resin, light oats and spicy hops in a dry, mild bitter finish. Medium body with a sticky, oily texture and average carbonation. Juicy and enjoyable.

Sweet fruity flavour of bready wheat malt, plum, peach, light salt and floral hops in a dry, slightly tart finish. Light body with a watery texture and average carbonation. Refreshing and goes down easy in the summer heat.
