Cloudy pink with a frothy white head. Lemon dominates with some berry in the back. Soured lemon and raspberry. Light and refreshing.

Dry and sour, this is not a stout. Wrong in so many ways, I have lost what respect I had for this brewer. A total drain pour

Can purchased at the brewery and brought to Antigua for unknown reasons - but it survived the trip very well. Pours with muddy red brown body and modest pinkish foam, smells of dry fruity coffee in somewhat well balance. Flavour is bitter plum which is numbing the sweet barley, turning at all into a bland mess. Nothing to love or hate here, just meh sadly. I'm not sure how the sour plum counteracted the porter but it did, making this inoffensive and sadly uninteresting.

Nice blackish purple body and modest light beige pink foam. The aroma is stout barley and sour cherries working reasonably well together, not amazing, but okay. Flavour is sour cherry indeed with a bit of stout buried in the back, but it's all unbalanced and too watery. Not exceptionally awful, but a little awkward. I can see where this is going though and hope they work out the kinks.

Smells of hoppy molasses, oily in the right amount, very well done. Has good black body with beige foam on top. Flavour is earthy chewy motor oil, smooth and brilliant mouthfeel. This is excellent, well balanced, very drinkable.

The aroma is very soft chai with some sugar. Has mellow gold body with little foam. Flavour is bright floral potpourri and chai, actually floral in a good way. Crisp mouthfeel. This is refreshing, decent.

Cask at the 8 x 8 Langley cask festival. The aroma is soft vanilla and coffee and maybe tiramisu if I'm thinking about it, but then again I can't really say I've been told that a beer should taste like tiramisu before. Has a dark black-brown body and soft foam on top. Flavour is syrupy molasses with strong spices through and through, nothing working very well. Mouthfeel is cloying syrup and everything is way too sugary. Somehow it turns out okay but there's no finesse, a blunt instrument against the taste buds.

Full bodied, good malt backbone with great Citra and Cascade hop profile. Medium lasting hop bitterness in finish. The bright hop character is great, but it overshadows the light roast common to the style. With a bit of tweaking and adding a bit more roast, this could be even better.
