355ml can. Pours a slightly hazy red-brown with a small, creamy, long lasting, tan head that laces nicely. Sweet aroma of bready malt, caramel, chocolate, nuts and just a subtle hint of rye. Sweet flavour of caramel malt, chocolate and rye bread with a dry, bitter grass finish. Medium body with a creamy, smooth, oily texture and soft carbonation. Very tasty, a pleasant surprise. The name suggests that the rye would dominate when in actuality it’s the caramel and chocolate that dominate with subtle notes of rye in the background. A solid brew from a new brewer.

355ml can. Pours a hazy copper with a medium, creamy, long lasting, beige head that leaves curtains of lace. Sweet aroma of caramel malt, bread, floral, tropical fruit, citrus and pine. Sweet flavour of caramel malt, citrus, tropical fruit and dank pine resin with a dry, hoppy, bitter grass finish. Medium body with an oily texture and average carbonation. Tasty, a great start for a new brewery. Looking forward to trying more from these guys.
