On nitro tap at Britannia - Main St, pours a deep dark mahogany brown with a large cascading beige head. Aroma is very faint, with light oats and toasted bready malt. Flavour is faint, as per the style, with smooth roasted barley and some oatiness. Creamy mouthfeel—the nitro makes this seem even softer than it would be. It’s fine.

On tap at Britannia - Main St, pours a clear golden with a small white head—can’t be a hazy at all despite the name. Aroma has plenty of oats—I guess that’s the hazy attempt—with gentle stone fruitiness. Flavour is more like an oat APA, which I’m of course fine with, since hazies suck the jizz off the balls of Christ, with a nice hearty oat character, very light juiciness, and a touch of hoppy bitterness. Nice oat ale.

On tap at Britannia - Main St, pours a clear golden orange with a small white head. Aroma has dry biscuity malt and a very small hint of toasted caramel. Flavour has a deeper malt character than expected, with toasted caramel, bready malt, and very subtle sweetness. Nice malt structure and competently constructed in general. Solid.

On tap at Britannia - Main St, pours a clear blonde with a small white head. Aroma is gentle, with soft lime and some grassiness. Flavour is clean, with gentle lime pervading the whole thing, with a clean grassy finish. Uninteresting but inoffensive and pleasant.

On tap. Pours a hazy amber with short head. Aromas of candied citrus, melons, subtle pine and bready malts. Flavors of same. Not getting the sharpness expected with rye, but nice enough.

On tap. Pours a hazy gold with short head. Aromas of smoke and dull wheat. Flavors carry the smoky notes with citrus and more wheat. Something wrong? Not for me…
