bottle from Zly Casy. Deep brown colour, beige creamy head. Aroma of cocoa and caramel, caramalt, chocolate biscuits. Full-bodied. Dry palate, malty background with hints o of chocolate and cocoa, shy hints of caramel and a touch of espresso.Blueberries in the finish.

draught at Zly Casy. Cloudy with a nice creamy head. Slightly yeasty with typical IPA characterisitics. A bit milder than Sv. Norbert IPA.

draught at Zly Casy. Hazy brownish-golden ale, crema yhead. Slightly malty with a shy hoppy touch. Mild and rather empty, still ok.

Bottled 500ml. -at Zlý Časy, Praha. Slight golden coloured, medium sized white head, grassy nose with touch of dust. Sweet malty, hoppy herbal and grassy with notes of honey. Quite dry finish. 5.5%

Bottled 500ml. -at Zlý Časy, Praha. Hazy yellow coloured, medium sized white head, fruity nose. Yeasty, fruity (orange is dominant, banana is mild) and slight acidic with notes of cloves and other spices. Good and refreshing weizen.

Bottled 500ml. -at Zlý Časy, Praha. Black coloured, small pale beige head, sweetish caramel nose. A way too sweet caramel and fruity with mild notes of coffee and brown sugar in the finish. Ok dunkel but too sweet for my taste. 5.8%

On tap at Pivovarsky Klub, Praha. Dark golden coloured, medium sized off-white head, aromatic hoppy nose. Moderate malty, fresh and perfumed hoppy and slight fruity with discreet touch of alcohol in the finish. Strong bitter aftertaste. Decent IPA.

Tap @ Jama, Prague. Pours unclear yellow with a creamy white head and lacings. Nose and taste is dry, grassy, floral and overall very hoppy. Crisp and dry flavor with plenty of hops and a bit of buiscuit. Very quaffable

Tap @ pub next to Norbert Brewpub. Pours dark amber - close to brown with a lasting fluffy white head and lacings. Dark chewy malty flavor. Lots of dried fruit, toffee, bread and caramel. Very smooth and tasty. Delicious!

Draught @ GBBF 09, Great British Beer Festival, Earls Court Exhibition Centre, London, England. [ As Matuška Pils ]. Clear light to medium yellow orange color with a average, frothy to creamy, good lacing, fully lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, grain, toasted, moderate hoppy, green grass. Flavor is moderate to light heavy sweet and bitter with a average to long duration. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft to flat. [20090804]
