Description
Calling West Toronto's Junction neighbourhood home, founders Tom Paterson and Doug Pengelly started Junction Craft Brewery (JCB) in 2011 with a mission to create the highest-quality, hand-crafted beers. Since that time the brewery has grown and expanded its product offering adding great new styles and brands available across the province.

In 2018 the business moved to its current home located in a former City of Toronto 1930's art-deco incinerator, affectionately known as 'The Destructor". Decommissioned in the 80's, used for raves in the 90's and beautifully restored in 2018, the award winning heritage building is the perfect spot to enjoy a part of Toronto's past, hangout in our intimate yet spacious taproom, grab a brewery tour and of course sample great, fresh beer.

In 2019 JCB continued its expansion adding St. Mary Axe and socially responsible beer brand Caribru to its family of products.

A reddish copper ale with a thin brown head. In aroma, surprising dark chocolate with caramel malt, light coffe notes, lightly resinous. In mouth, a nice chocomalt with grassy British hops, treacle, rich bodied, veering in porter territory.

A golden ale wiith a thin off white head. In aroma, sweet fruity caramell malt with light solvent esters, grainy and a bit off. In mouth, a clean grainy malt with light grassy hops, light mineral notes, ok.

A golden ale with a thin off white head. In aroma, a rather grainy malt with smooth British hops. In mouth, a light biscuit malt with light grassy British hops, not bad.

A lightly hazed blonde ale with a thin white head. In aroma, a nice biscuit malt with smooth British hops, and light mineral notes. In mouth, a nice biscuit malt with grassy hops, lingering light bitterness.

A blonde kolsch with a thin white head. In aroma, nice sweet grainy malt with light mineral notes, faint hops. In mouth, a sweet grainy malt with Saaz hops, mineral notes, nice.

Pours clear golden without head or lacing. Aroma of malt and some off glacier, almost like vegetables or something. Average consistency, some bitterness and some sourness in finish. On tap at volos.

Pours mahogany with great head and lacing. Mocha coloured head. Smells of hops and toasty malt. Some nut in there as well. palate straight forward and balanced. Finished bitter with essence of sweetness. average carbonation, good medium consistency. Good for style. Tap at brewpub.
