Ruse Brewing is an artisanal brewery inspired by Portland's creative community & culture. These attributes are what inspire us to create our art: craft beer.
We brew small batch, flavorful, and thoughtfully-crafted beers. We work with local artists and musicians to design beers paired with their art for concept events and beer releases. Our community is a major inspiration for our company vision, we will do what it takes to be involved and support other businesses and organizations.

On tap at Ruse, pours black with a small tan head. Aroma brings out lots of bright coffee upfront, with little else to speak of - just vibrant coffee really. Flavour is loaded with intense coffee, with gentle cocoa and just enough sweetness. Almost no bitterness, must robust coffee. Excellent.

On tap at Ruse, pours a hazy blonde with a small white head. Aroma reveals lots of rough brett and floral dry-hopping. Flavour is along the same lines, with lots of funky brett, gentle floral dry hopping, and crisp grassiness. A bit sharp, but the brett works well here. Good stuff.

On tap at Ruse, pours a pale golden blonde with a small white head. Aroma reveals lots of brett, wild yeast in general, gentle vinous notes, and lightly acidic peaches. Flavour is full of lightly acidic peaches upfront, with some gentle phenols, wild yeast, and seltzery notes. A little too phenolic. It's pleasant but this doesn't seem optimally dialled in.
