On tap at Optimism, pours black with a reddish tinge and a small beige head. Aroma brings out dry toasted malt, some oats, and bitter dry cocoa. Flavour brings out the dry cocoa nibs upfront, with dark chocolate and hearty oats rounding this out. Medium-bodied with a nice, balanced flavour profile. Very nice.
