Amber, bit of haze, thin head. Crackery malt, toasty, maybe a touch tart in the finish?

Dark brown, medium head. Has a mellow smoke and toffee character. Fairly bitter, coffeeish so that it's not even like a Scottish ale.

Dark brown. Thin head. Big vanilla, bourbon, rich toffee, light roast. Pretty good, complex tasty chocolate and vanilla dessert beer.

Tap at the brewpub in Seattle. A quite watery beer but fresh enough. Stunned by the pub more.

Draft pour at Optimism, to celebrate the 2 year anniversary. It's been that long already? Reddish copper pour. Rocky foam head. Soft malty aroma, some metallic character. A ton of sweet caramel and toffee going on. Lingering sweetness. Longer lingering malty constant. Toasty. Very flavorful. Not your typical anniversary type beer, but both strong, but easy drinking. Good combo. Not a bad brew.

Draft pour at Optimism. A creamy, juicy golden yellow pour. Peaches and other tropical fruits in the nose. Very inviting. Flavor is cool and very refreshing. Orange, peach, mango, and plenty of other low sweet, all flavor fruit constant. A bit tangy. Nice cream body to it. A nice juicy and refreshing addition to the NE style. Very enjoyable.

Draft pour at Optimism. A clean reddish copper pour with almost no head. Listed at an updated 11%, up from the previous 9.2. Malty aroma from a distance. Flavor is the expected amount of booze Some brown sugar, rich caramel. Plenty of dark fruit notes to go around. Plum. Raisin. Strong, but surprisingly smooth all things considered. Pretty good.

Draft pour at Optimism. A soft haze, bright golden orange pour with a patchy head. Tons of orange fruit as advertised. A nice, true orange flavor to pair with the grain. Lingering orange with all the juice and none of any spice. Good beer
