Snake Lake Brewing is the passion project of a rig hand, an instrumentation technician, and a mechanic. After paying our dues in the patch, we’re looking forward to having a new boss: you. We want to be your after-work beer, and your days-off drinks with friends. We can’t wait to show you what we’ve got.

On tap. Pours a clear copper with a small, foamy, short lived, beige head that laces nicely. Mild aroma of toasted caramel malt and floral hops. Flavour of lightly roasted caramel malt and floral hops in a dry, mild bitter finish. Light body with a watery texture and soft carbonation. Malt forward and easy drinking, but a bit thin and bland.

473ml can. Pours a cloudy gold yellow with yeast particles that sink to the bottom and a small, foamy, long lasting, white head that leaves curtains of lace. Mild fruity aroma of bready wheat malt, orange, peach, earthy yeast and floral hops. Sweet fruity flavour of bready wheat malt, tangerine, pineapple, apricot, earthy yeast and light piney hops in a dry, mild bitter finish. Light to medium body with an oily texture and soft carbonation. Not bad.

Grapefruit, orange peel marmalade. Golden pour with decent head. Bittersweet and tangy end. A little too tangy. I've had better from these guys. Can.

Gimmicky but not bad. Lots of lime, not sure I pick up on tortilla but maybe a little. Clear golden pour. Light tart finish. Decent, despite their best efforts not to be on this one. Can.
