Description

Hazy golden colour. Sweetish ale with some good malt qualities and lingering frutiness, mellow, with balanced bitterness; from thename I expected passion fruit, that is not really evident, but it's a good beer.

330ml bottle at Erik's. Pours a hazy dirty golden with a white head. Aroma and taste are fruity and citrusy, not pleasant. Meh.

Cloudy, purplish colour. On the nose, definitely phenolic, maybe a little bit of that purple corn. That's definitely purple corn on the palate, quite a bit of hop bitterness. A bit of fruitiness. Interesting, at least the corn flavour.

Tasting at Black Metal West
Cloudy golden colour. The aroma is initially fruity, then malty, bready. Sweetish, very malty, not much hop character, a bit herbal and astringent in the final, lingering fruity touch.
Unbalanced but drinkable.

Hazy blonde. This is really spicy, liquorice is strong, There's a light liquorice note, mellow blonde ale. Odd beer. Not sure what to make of it. Balanced between malts, odd spicy notes...man I have no idea what to make of this.
