Description
The Celt Experience came into being back in 2007 when the brewery based in the Pontygwindy Industrial Estate, Caerphilly was opened. Prior to this, Tim Newman (Managing Director) was brewing beers in his Fathers garage The Celt Experience quickly grew to the point of exporting beers to over 20 countries around the world.
In May 2016, the sudden news broke that The Celt Experience would be ceasing production but would keep the brand going. In June 2016, Evan Evans stepped in to pick up the brand. Celt branded beers are now brewed at the Evan Evans Llandeilo brewery.
This listing therefore includes beers currently brewed at Evan Evans and also at the original Celt experience brewery located in Caerphilly.

Danish tasting session
Black color with large head, reducing quickly. Mild roasted malt aroma. Dry and extremely ashy flavor; relatively strong bitterness with metallic character.
Unpleasant ash beer.

330 ml bottle. Best before 03/01/2014! may be a tad old... Pours a hazy reddish mahogany with moderate head. Aromas of bready malts, brown sugar, and cookie spices. Flavors follow same; very malty but with an element of bitter herbal/earthy hops. Can't say US hops... More like the flavors of a British barley wine at this point - but that ain't bad.

Fra cask på Crosse Keys, London 11 Okt 17. Lys gylden. Filmskum. Forsiktig fruktaroma. Smaken lett sitrus med tilløp til dorens. Litt kjedelig.

26th Oct 2017, cask half-pint in my local Wetherspoon pub. Clear golden pour, clean white head. Too many citrusy aromas and flavours for me, almost sour in fact, the lemon peel infusion being my problem.

On cask at the Caley Picture House. Appearance - golden with a light haze. Neat head. Nose - lime and grapefruit. In that general zone. Taste - more lime, plus resin. Green stalks. Palate - close to medium bodied with a dry middle and end. Overall - some hops in this one.
