Bottle from bioshop, Burgos. Light yellow colour, fast disappearing bubbles. Nose is sour apples, slight sweetness, wood. Flavour is sour apple, wood, slightly acidic. Dry and clean finish.

29/11 A 0.75 l bottle from some supermarket in Oviedo. It poured pale golden body with big head that didn’t live long. Weaker apple aroma. Sweet flavor, some sweet apples and candies, that would be it. Medium in body, sticky, with long sugary finish. Easily drinkable, like a kid’s apple juice, sweet and without any interesting character. And that is supposed to be a better quality Gaitero.

330ml bottle - had this sitting in the fridge for some time, so decided to crack it and save some better beers for later. Aroma is ripe apple cores, good acidic smell, not much to look at though - a bit fizzy, lots of carbonation. First sip is refreshing, bitter and sour aftertaste, lingers quite a bit. Body is as first impressions, very gassy. Worth a shot and quenched the thirst! Olé manzana.

Bottle shared with Lyoli at home in London. Pours clear with almost no color and a quickly fleeting fizzy white head. Has a kind of sweaty apple aroma. Medium sweet with some sugar, mild dankness, some spices. Medium bodied with fizzy carbonation. Sweet, sugary finish, lightly sticky, some artificial sugar, decent ripe apple character. Nothing special, though.
