Uniform, very carbonated (if knocked-out quite fast) metallic golden liquid with a shortlived small, translucent to white B.C."H." Dusty apples & glue; sweetish with a hint at fruit - apple - acidity. Oxydized flavour, old & dusty; finish however consisting of slightly sourish apples and much better, with a small perfumed extra, not unmindful of wild strawberries, but also partly artificial. Fizzy despite the knocked-out CO², slick and strang acidification. I’m not entirely convinced. BTW, it’s demi-sec, rather than dry.

33cl bottle in Accra, Ghana.

Clear golden colour, slight white head which disappears fast. Scent of apples, sweetness, slight acidity and some fruit esters of which I’m not entirely sure if they came there naturally. Reminiscent of sticky pink bubblegum. Taste is rather sweet with a nice sour apple tone, though it stays with the tone only, the sour flavour itself is not really present. Somewhat artificial. When in South Africa it seemed quite allright, but even on a warm spring day in The Netherlands it can’t really enchant me anymore. Still much better than most of the Estonian ciders I’ve tasted though. (bottle, 330mL, 5,5% abv)
