Pours clear, light yellow. Scent is sweet, candied apple, taste is sweet, mild apple funk, but hidden underneath sweetness from generic apple races. The cider itself isn't as sweet as feared, just the used apples, making the cider really simple. Drinkable, but nothing like the actual 'real ciders' made from apple juice rather than concentrates and additives.

330ml bottle as Hunter's Gold, from the Savannah online. Clear bright golden colour, white foamy head that dissipates away to a thin layer and aroma of apple, fruity, sulphury hint. Taste is sweet, apple, fruity, sugary, candy, with some tangy & citric notes. Medium bodied, high carbonation, lingering sweet finish. Kind of OK

0,33 flaske delt med Kitty på hotellrommet i Johannesburg feb-20: klar gylden med kort skum. Lett syntetisk eplearoma og -smak. Painfully boring.

330ml can as 'Hunters Gold', from South African quarter, Saint Nicholas Market, Bristol. Pours clear gold, large slowly receding white head. Aroma is sweet with some crisp apple notes. Taste is orange berocca tablets, appletiser, thin on the palate, moderately sweet, more berocca, very low barely discernible apple juice. Odd one.
