Golden with a small white head. Aroma is fruity with green grass and vegetable notes, some malt and a whiff of alcohol. Sweet malty flavour with toffee notes, some citrus hops and alcohol. If you wanna call it hop juice I prefer more hops and less sweet alcohol bomb

Bottle @ J.C.G. Pours unclear orange with a creamy lasting white head and lacings. Freshly hopped nose. Pine, orange and a bit of buiscuit. Smooth and sticky palate. Taste is very hoppy, spruce, juice and pine. Lasting bitterness. A bit boozy. Nice.

Bottle, 65cl, shared by Papsoe. It’s a clear, golden beer, completely flat and without head. There’s alcohol, some spicyness, phenols and tropical fruits in the aroma. The flavor is a bit too much on the alcohol and phenolic side, with a nice addition of tropical fruits and some spices. Full-bodied, dry and sweetish. A bitter, sweet, spiced and very warm flavor finishes the whole thing. A decent one, but way too focused on alcohol. 090821

Location: 22 oz bottle from New Beer, 9/25/09
Aroma: A bitter hop aroma, grapefruit, and some alcohol on the nose as well
Appearance: Hazy golden-orange, bubbly white head, with a nice amount of lace
Flavor: Bitter hop flavor, and a barleywine like maltiness, a drop too much alcohol flavor
Palate: Lasting and crisp finish with quite a bit of ABV burn, a bit dry, with a big mouthfeel
Overall Impression: This was a pretty solid, but not upper-tier DIPA. I found the nose to be nice, while a touch 1 dimensional, but the taste left me a bit more alcohol flavor then I am looking for in a top quality Double IPA. I can certainly appreciate this beer, and I can't say for sure that I'm getting the best or the newest bottle, but it came off a bit more Barleywine and less IIPA then I was expecting.

Bottled at Oliver Twist, Stockholm. Deep golden, almost no head. Sweaty lychee aroma, Sweet and full bodied with clean mouthfeel. Salty and very hoppy with clean chewy malt, sweaty orange/pomelo. Very poerful and concentrated. Hugely bitter. Huge beer.

Bottle 65 cl. Clear pale amber with a small, rough off-white head. Aroma of fruit, yeast and distinct alcohol. Medium body, fruit, yeast and a burning alcohol finish. I love powerful beers, but this really, really needs some more body to sustain the massive alcohol. 210809

Bottle. Mild farty aroma, nicely malty and spicy. Hazy golden colour. Small stable white head. The flavour is quite sweet and spicy, good alcohol level. Slightly rough alcohol flavour and bitterness, but that is needed to balance the sweetness a bit.

650ml bottle at Oliver Twist. The aroma is fantastic! There is a slight oily taste in an unpleaseant way.

Bottle. I really like the sweet caramel and grapefruity smell of this beer. The taste is a little unbalanced due to the lack of malt. Too fucking bitter without finesse...
