Draft at Mad Sweede-Cole. Golden pour, light cloudiness, small foamy white head. Aroma is tangerines and orange soda. Taste mirrors the nose, sweet, tangerines and orange soda. Easy drinker.

Can: Poured a dark brown black with a khaki tan head. Aroma is rich malts, earthy, dark fruits. Taste is dark fruits. rich malts, spice, caramel.

On tap at the taproom. Pale light golden. Peppery was dominated but is not too hot. Light pale malts try to carryover but this is a pepper beer. Good.

On tap at the Downtown taproom slightly hazy light redish amber. Light fresh piney hop character light toasted malts a little sweetnessz

Taster at BitterCreek. Amber pour yields spotty head but tons of lacing. Aroma is caramel and pine. Taste starts sweet and malty, then the hops crop up adding a nice evergreen bite. Hops work well with the style.

On tap pours out amber topped with a sand head. Nose is light toasted grain some grass hops and a little leaf. Taste is more of the light leaf grass hops and some toasted cereal notes.

Taster at Mad Swede Downtown. Bright, clear golden pour, skin of head, solid lacing. Aroma is jalapeno. Taste is jalapeno as well, not much of the base beer comes through.

Draft at Mad Swede Downtown. Cloudy light amber, ring of off-white head, streaky lacing. Light hoppy aroma. Taste is a balance of malt and hops. Very mild hoppiness for a fresh hop ale.

16oz can from Albertson’s Central Meridian Idaho. Nose is caramelly dark malt with toasted bread a dried fruit. Rusty brown with a big, heavy lacing, tan head. Flavor is malty and lightly sweet fruit cake with a hint of bitterness.
