Pours with minimal foam and a very red body. Smells of really fake sugary raspberry and yeast. Flavour is earthy raspberry, lots of smoke it seems, burlap and chewy hay. Okay carbonation on the mouthfeel but that smokiness lingers in the aftertaste. I'm finding very little to like about this one.

Pretty weak foam with a deep reddish copper body and very minimal carbonation. Lots of floral berry on the nose with solid tannin notes. Flavour is more tart berry, some smoked leather and a bitter finish. The blackberries might be overpowering this and that may be understandable but I think it's rather unbalanced. Bottle found at a random liquor store in Victoria.

Pours with modest foam and an okay yellowy clear body, decent carbonation visible. Smells of semi-sweet apples with strong hints of twig. Flavour is good twig, soft white wine notes, vinegar. Acidity on the finish and a little thin on the mouthfeel. Simply okay, nothing is a wow factor here.

Pours with very modest foam and a nice clear rosé body with mellow carbonation. Smells of subdued cranberry, no real apple present and it's not clear if this is cranberry infused apple cider or pure cranberry from the label. Flavour is mellow tart cranberry, soft and undistinguished. Full mouthfeel though but carbonation is rather minimal. Nothing really stands out here, but it's drinkable. Bottle found somewhere in Victoria a few months ago.

Pours with okay foam on a whiteish crystal body, good carbonation coming through. Smells of soft apple skins, sugar and a bit of vanilla. Flavour is more tannins, vanilla notes, vague apple. Subdued, not too sweet, but very straight ahead.

Draught at Darby's Gastown, Vancouver; 6% ABV
Pale yellow color. Quite nice aroma, delicate, apples. The mouthfeel is dry and very weak, mildly acidic, with very mild cider notes.
Too simple.

On tap at Darby's Gastown, pours a clear faded pinkish amber with a small off-pink head. Nose is very sweet, full of sugar and cloying raspberries. Flavour is intensely and cloyingly sweet, with tons of sweet raspberry juice, and a touch of tart and pithy character. Too sweet for me, but at least it's not artificial tasting. Not for me.

Very pale, quite mellow and appley, has a nice apple character with light tannins. Bit bad - some good sweetness.

Bottle - Light raspberry. Clear orange and pink. Raspberry, orange. Dry, acidic and nice.
