On tap at Gruff, pours a cloudy golden yellow with a small white head. Aroma has diacetyl that ruins things, with subdued hops and bready malt. Flavour is too dominated by the butter—fuck off. Totally fucked. Undrinkable.

On tap at Gruff, pours a clear blonde with a small white head. Aroma has a mild grassy hop character, straw, and biscuity malt. Flavour is bright, with a grassy hop bitterness driving this, with a dry biscuity malt. Nice grassy hop brightness. Good stuff.

On tap at Gruff, pours a clear blonde with a small white head. Aroma is pretty low on the hops, with light grains and straw. Flavour is timid, with biscuity malt, straw, and some grainy notes. Very low bitterness / hop content. It’s clean but totally uninteresting.

On tap at Gruff, pours a clear golden orange with a small white head. Aroma has plenty of resinous hops, a touch of chewy caramel malt, and grapefruit peel. Flavour has a spicier hop expression, with a bit of resinous hops, caramel malt, pine, and grapefruit zest. Fairly malty, without being remotely sweet. Nicely constructed old school DIPA.

On tap at Gruff, pours a hazed bright golden with a small white head. Aroma is extremely weedy, with terpene-like intense dankness dominate with a soft malt base. Flavour is mega-dank, with tons of weedy dankness, light pine, and a dry biscuity malt base. Dank, weedy, and yet clean finish. Real good.

On tap at Gruff, pours a clear golden with a small white head. Aroma has a nice bright melony hop character, some pine, and a touch of citrus. Flavour is quite fruity and bitter, with lots of melony hops, pine, grapefruit zest, and a dry biscuity malt finish. Finishes with melon and grapefruit zesty bitterness. Very good.

On tap at Gruff, pours a hazy yellow with a small white head. Aroma brings out soft spicy hops, doughy malt, and dry biscuity malt. Flavour is fresh, with bright spicy hops, doughy malt, and bready malt. Bright, nicely hopped, and dry. Very good.
