Very nicely made stout. Mild woody notes to set it apart from others. Very clean and full and roasty. Bottle from Bc from beamteam.

Light roast and some caramel. Black pour with good head and lacing. Smooth finish. Good balance like journalism. Bottle.

Bottle. Pours a black color with a small tan head. Has a roasted malty chocolate and caramel aroma. Roasted malty bitter chocolate flavor with hints of caramel. Has a roasted malty chocolate bitter finish.

On tap at 12 Kings, pours a hazy golden yellow with a small white head. Aroma brings out light earthiness, restrained hops, and a little pine. Flavour is very smooth and easy-drinking, with light earthy hops, some pine, a little Belgian yeast and biscuity malt finish. Unremarkable but put together really well. Good stuff as always from Barkerville.

Draft - Dark malts and cooked banana. Cloudy Amber with a decent white head. Light sweet caramel notes with a hint of banana.

On tap at GCBF 2016, pours a murky dark reddish brown with a small beige head. Aroma brings out notes of banana, toasted malt and a little earthy quality. Flavour is robust for the style, with a good mix of burnt earthy notes, banana, and toasted malt. Dry finish, with lots of fruity esters and toasted earthy notes. Very nice.

Draught at Foamers Folly, Pitt Meadows
Hazy blond color with thick compact head. The aroma is mildly spicy. Smooth mouthfeel, spicy wheat flavor, robust bitterness, but this pushes the White IPA paradigm too much in a direction that is unsafe. I’m basically drinking a bitter Saison.

650ml bottle, bought at Big Ridge Liquor Store, tasted on Green Point Campground. Pours dark brown with a beige head. Aroma is roasted malt, chocolate. Taste is chocolate notes, roasted malt. Burnt malt, hoppy bitterness aftertaste. Very good stout.
