Bomber from somewhere or the other in Albeerta/Beertish Columbia, who knows at this point. Chilled, kinda, kinda like me, some say. (...Some don’t). Head isn’t too spectacular, kinda looks like an IPA with foggy gold and all that. Skunk cabbage aroma, boring lager, slight corn grain, blah, well it’s a north american golden ale after all. Flavour is light and slight lager, hop hints, crisp lemon, vague grain, okay lager style where you barely know what you’re drinking. Hey, that’s okay. I guess. Even if I get your phone number tomorrow morning don’t expect me to call you. M’kay?

Kinda pink head and black body. Weird licorice aroma and nothing else. Weird licorice flavour, sharp, salt, not much else. This one’s gonna be hard to put down.

Nice lemon and wheat aroma on top of a foggy white-gold body (funny that, eh?). Flavour is solid wit notes, chewy crackers, cheese. Very well done.

Bottle found in northern BC. Very nice big bright brown fluffy head and dark body. Good aroma of tar, motor oil, coffee beans. Flavour is nice with lots of chocolate cake and coffee, some sharp molasses hints. I’ve had a lot of bad stouts in B.C. but this is one of the exceptions, and very good.

Can found somewhere in the middle of BC. Has a very quickly disappearing foamy head and foggy orange body. Very soft hefe aroma of all things, not too exciting. Flavour is a muddled bit of corn and cereal, wheat, with a bit of hops. Kind of like a rustic lager, there is not much interesting about this one.

Okay bleach white head and golden body. Soft hops aroma. Flavour is more hops but not too sharp, kind of restrained, medium finish. Okay IPA, middling, blah, whatevs, just okay. Meh.

Poured chilled it has minimal head and a copper body. Hoppy aroma, more IPA than something else perhaps. Nice hoppy flavour with hazelnut hints and a dry finish. Drinkable certainly but hard to call a stand-out.

Bottle - Nice hoppy citrus peel nose. Clearish copper with a rich beige head. Earthy and slightly vegetal hops with a bit more citrus hop in the finish. Malty for sure, but doesn’t commit to either side of the equation, a bit of a let down.

Not really a black ipa, morenlike a brown ipa. Some unfermented sugar here and a lotof off flavors. Pours dark brown with ok head and lacing. Sweet and sour finish. Tap at drake eatery.

hazy golden color. Big passionfruit and tropical nose. The mouth is big fruity with tons of tropical fruit and modest bitterness. Fairly dry. Modest bitter finish. 48 ibus but could have gone higher.
