Bottle - Some cocoa and citrus hops. Deep jet brown with a light brown head. Toasty and some roast with cocoa. Toasty and lots of coco, odd.

Bottle bought at Bainbridge liquor store at Matt?s place. Aroma is fruity, flowery, slightly grassy, roasted malt, peat and coffee notes on the background. Taste is fruity, caramel, roasted malt with some slight coffee notes. Burnt malt aftertaste. Very good.

650mL bottle, pours black with a medium brown head. Aroma is very fudgy, with loads of chocolate fudge, resinous hops, and chalky notes. Flavour is very sludgy, with lots of chalk, chocolate fudge and restrained resinous hops. Too sludgy and chalky. Meh.

On tap at St. Augustine's, pours black with a reddish hue and a small tan head. Aroma brings out shitloads of nutmeg and cinnamon upfront, with some clove in there as well. Flavour is along the same lines, with a roasty component in addition to the litany of spices. Not really my thing at all, but at least it's inoffensive. Meh.

Draught at St. Augustine’s, Vancouver
Dark brown color, almost black, with compact head. I get a stale and a bit stinky Stout, with some roasty character that I wouldn’t know it’s coffee. Some acidity from the dark malt/beans.
Not too bad, but… meh.

On tap at St. Augustine's, pours a clear copper with a small beige head. Aroma brings out notes of piney hops, some resin, and biscuity malt. Flavour is very resinous and woody in the hop department, with a slight vegetal quality and an astringent finish. Not the best IPA out there, but it's okay.

On tap at St. Augustine's, pours black with a small tan head. Aroma is quite chalky, with medium roast coffee and a chalky, almost cardboardy element. Flavour is unfortunately the same, with light roasted coffee, chalk and cardboard. Something seems seriously wrong here. Not sure how they messed up so simple, unless this is a problem with the tap lines here (not unlikely). Bad.

Tried at sampler of it at BNA with a lime in the sample glass. light brown color. Coffee and some chocolate malt but super light with no aftertaste. Why the fuck are you making craft Tecate? Stupid shit. My mom said the best part of the beer was the lime, which I think my mom should start rating beers as she seems to understand this beer very well

Bottle - Sweet grains and almost honey notes. Clear gold with almost no head. Light citrus tartness, touch of peel and a crisp finish. Although this smells not quite right it definitely hits the spot on taste.
