355ml can from the brewery on first visit. Pours a real dark brown colour, very close to black with a bubbly-creamy much-coloured head that has good retention and great dirty-creamy lacing. Beautiful roasted malt aromas with hints of dark fruits and molasses. Same for taste with a smooth mouthfeel. Nothing special, but very well done for the typical style. Would have again.

Can from brewery that pours a clean amber colour with a small light-beige head with minimal stay and lace. Liquid smoke smell over caramel and mild roasted malts. Smoky flavours as well over the sweet malts that make this a little too rich to enjoy a full one. A Rauchbier maybe, but bacon is not as should have salt like their gose.

Big can from the brewery. Pours a real dark brown colour with a mocha-coloured frothy head that lasts a little while and give a ring of creaminess. Roasted malt nose with nice blended chocolate notes and hints of coffee and nuts. The taste shows the roasted malts with a soft sweetness to balance things. Just a nice easy-drinking smooth stout.
