Description
Wallace Brewing Company, 15-barrel microbrewery, began selling its beer in January 2009, in historic Wallace, Idaho.
A collaborative effort of Wallace’s Chase Sanborn, Dean Cooper, Rick Magnuson and the Zanettis, the brewery pays homage to the town’s notorious past, creating a brand of beers with mining and bordello-inspired monikers such as ‘Dirty Blonde’, ‘Jackleg Stout’, ‘RedLight Irish Red Ale’, and ‘Idaho Select Light Lager’ .
“We want to brew in the honest spirit of the mining heritage,” General Manager, Chase Sanborn said. “It’s not only the prevailing reputation of the town, but also one that can elevate the Wallace Brewing brand.

12 oz can. Aroma is citrus, grainy, floral, honey malt. Pours clear golden with a thick ivory head with excellent retention and curtains of lace left down the entire glass. Taste is moderately bitter with light citrus and pine tones. Not bad and exceeds expectations.

Grunt fill from Albertsons. Vindicator's big brother, this medium amber brew pours out with a huge rocky head. Aroma is half caramel malts, have savory tang, spicy hops. taste reverses things and moves the hops up front, a big sharp shcok to the palate. Late in the game comes some sweet toffee, caramel. The hoppiness lingers, as does a slowly rising burn. Really nice.
