His Weisse poured a cloudy, light yellow colour with a creamy, bright white head. Nice lacing. Scents include orange citrus, light malt, honey and candy. First swig was nice and smooth. Slightly thin mouthfeel with flavours of citrus, wheat and light malt. Finish is mildly sour with those citrus hops lingering.

A hazed pink golden ipa with a thin lacing off white head. In aroma, sweet fruity malt with herbal hops, light grapeskins, light butter. In mouth, sweet fruity malt with light grapeskins, light grassy hops, faint buttery notes, pleasant.

At first pour, this one is clean, light golden-yellow with a frothy-foamy white cap, decent retention and some foam lace. Citrusy aromas of grapefruit peel with some of the juices. The taste gives these same notes. Dry, but not extreme. Some nice bitterness. Alcohol is well-hidden and carbonation seems fairly light. The feel is close to champagne, but without the tiny bubble carbonation. Last pour gives a little hazy. Nice overall.

Can that pours a hazy golden colour with a frothy-creamy white head, good stay and some creamy lacing. The weisse side is what smells the most, with the sweet wheat. A light sourness is very faint. The sour note is a little more apparent in the taste, but does not last long. Hints of bubblegum, but not thick and rich like most weisse beers. Being a stronger alcohol content for a this style, it is quite different, but interesting. Drinkable.

Can from the LCBO. Clear reddish gold with a small quick fading white head leaving patchy lace. Nose is light raspberry, wheat. Flavour is light+ tart raspberry and a light grassy bitterness. Mouth is medium with slightly soft carbonation. Quite refreshing. 6+/3/7/3/13-

340 ml bottle. Hazy honey gold color. Frothy beige head. Fruity, yeasty malt nose. Flavor starts out as toasted malt, but quickly it becomes all about the hops. Intensely bitter, piney and resiny. Notes of grapefruit pith, lime and berries. Wow, didn't see that coming. A must for lupilin lovers.

From the bottle. Pours a clean amber colour with a big frothy light warm beige head, great stay and full thick foamy lacing. Hoppy aromas with green leaves and notes of spicy rye. The taste as well has this rye feel with some caramel malt base. Becomes hazier as it pours. Alright overall for an amber ale, but not something that comes and get me.

650 ml bottle (only 25 days old). Very deep brown color, normal carbonation. Full thick head retention. Aroma is caramel malt, rich earthy tones, and English ale yeast. Not much in the way of toasted nuts or rich malts. Very earthy malt and lots of English barley and yeast. Maybe some chocolate but….something about the flavor is off. The body is light but it has a funky almost infected hint about it. My friend who got this at the brewery could only drink 4 ounces. That is all I could stomach as well.

11.5 ounce bottle into tulip glass, no bottle dating. Pours lightly hazy deep orange/light copper color with a 1-2 finger dense and rocky light pink head with good retention, that reduces to a nice cap that lingers. Nice dense soapy lacing clings around the glass. Aromas of big apricot, peach, papaya, pineapple, mango, melon, guava, grapefruit, lemon zest, orange peel, light pepper/pine, honey, caramel, toasted bread, herbal, and floral/grassy earthiness. Damn nice aromas with great balance and complexity of fruity/tropical/citrus hops and moderate dark/bready malt notes; with great strength. Taste of big apricot, peach, papaya, pineapple, mango, melon, guava, grapefruit, lemon zest, orange peel, pepper, pine, honey, caramel, toasted bread, herbal, and floral/grassy earthiness. Moderate pine, grassy, citrus peel, spicy bitterness on the finish. Lingering notes of apricot, peach, papaya, pineapple, mango, melon, guava, grapefruit, lemon/orange peel, citrus rind, pepper, pine, honey, caramel, toasted bread, and herbal/floral/grassy earthiness on the finish for a while. Great complexity, robustness, and balance of fruity/tropical/citrus hops and moderate dark/bready malt flavors; with great malt/bitterness balance, and zero lingering hop astringency after the finish. Light-moderate dryness from lingering bitterness, increasing through the glass. Medium carbonation and medium-plus body; with a very smooth, moderately creamy/bready/grainy, sticky/resinous, and slightly rindy balanced mouthfeel that is great. Zero warming alcohol for 8.4%. Overall this is a great DIPA. All around great complexity, robustness, and balance of fruity/tropical/citrus hops and moderate dark/bready malt flavors; very smooth and easy to drink for the ABV, with the modestly bitter/drying finish. Very juicy, fruity, and tropical on hops; sizable malt backbone, but never overly sweet or heavy feeling. A very enjoyable offering.
