Tap at Capitol Beer in Sacramento, CA. Pours gold with a white head. Earthy/floral aroma. Strong aroma. Near full bodied. Flavor is floral/earth, phenol., pine and maybe a bit of everything in the world. Dank too. Very hoppy with a sweet caramel underlayer. Quite different. Almost shocking at first. Perseverance is rewarded.

Tap @ Mikkeller, Stefansgade. Hazy orange with a lasting off-white head. Aroma is sweet, malty, caramel and moderate hoppy - old hops. Flavor is quite sweet and rather bitter. Dry and rather bitter finish. 110215

Sample at the Bistro’s DIPA-festival 2015. A bit hazy dark golden with a white head. Fresh and hoppy with mango, pineapple and light cookies. Not that sweet and with a nice bitter finish. Did I say that this one was hoppy? Very nice!

Draft @ Mikkeller Bar, Copenhagen. Pours a black color with a small tan head. Has a fruity malty chocolate aroma with hints of caramel. Roasted malty chocolate and licorice flavor. Has a roasted malty chocolate and licorice finish.
