APA? Smells and tastes like a run of the mill blonde. Pale malts, grassy hops, very high carbonation. Apples, and grassy finish, low bitterness. Meh.

On tap at sawdust city. Black pour, with a big beige head. Aroma is very toasty, and lots of solid roast coffee notes. The name when I had it was chicory oatmeal stout. I think the addition of chicory is new. It’s not very noticeable in the aroma, but the finish is dominated by it. Lots of pungent green pepper corns, and chicory flavour. Pairs very well with the solid oatmea roastiness.

Lightly hazed, light golden-yellow colour with lots of carbonation giving a huge white head, long retention and loads of foamy lacing. Aromas of lemon peel, other citruses and herbal hints. The mouthfeel is wet at first, going into building ending mild dryness. Bitterness builds up as well. A touch of wax with the grassiness. A pretty good Session IPA with more hoppy bitterness than most.

Looks like the latest version is only 4.6% ABV. Pours a clean (gets hazier in the end) pink-peach-amber colour with a slightly pinkish soapy head, average retention and minimal lacing. Berries and apples for aromas, nice and fruity. The taste shows way more cereal and grainy flavours. The fruitiness is very mild in the background. All-around good, but which the alcohol content was a little more to add some tastiness. Very light.

Can from the LCBO. Clear very pale gold with a tow finger white head that fades quickly. Nose has light grass, grains, yeast and spice. Flavour as bland as the nose. light sweet with light grass and flower bitterness. Mouth is thin with average carbonation and a crisp finish. 6/2+/5/3/11

Can from the LCBO. Cloudy medium copper with a lingering off white head leaving patchy lace. Lots of particulate. Nose has bright citrus with tangerine and grapefruit, pineapple, pine resin and light caramel. Light sweet malt base with medium+ citrus and pine bitterness. Wouldn't peg it at 90 IBU. Mouth is medium and creamy with slightly soft carbonation and a short bitter finish. Flavour does not quite meet the nose but OK. 8/3/7/3+/14+

Can that pours a very light golden-yellow colour with a huge white frothy head, good stay and some creamy-foamy lacing. Aromas of burnt green leaves and peppery notes over sweet malts. The taste has some pepper with the cereal pils grains. Hints of vegetables, like celery. Not as bad as this sounds all-around. Just interesting.

Sampled on draft this beer poured a yellow color with a large foamy whit head that left decent lacing. The aroma was phenolic and a bit citric. The flavor was yeasty and phenolic with a touch of citrus and mild astringency. Medium length finish. Medium body.
