10/XI/22 - 1Pt. can from a trade, shared @ home, BB: n/a, canned: IX/19/22, named “hazy IPA” on the can, but later on they changed the name of the beer afterwards on untappd to “juicy IPA” Simcoe / Citra / Mosaic (2022-1453) Thanks to Aaron for the trade!
Completely clear beer, I guess that’s why they changed the name on untappd from “hazy IPA” to “juicy IPA”, orange to blond coloured. Big solid creamy off-white head, stable, adhesive, leaving a nice lacing in the glass. Aroma: spicy, weird, ginger notes, a bit fruity, a hint of sulphur. This isn’t very good. MF: ok carbon, medium to light body. Taste: gentle bitterness up front, a bit grassy, ginger touch, chemical notes, toothpaste, glue. Aftertaste: very bitter, a bit unpleasant and chemical, not bad, not great either, the fresh hopping in this beer clearly doesn’t right to these otherwise wonderful hops.

16 oz can picked up at Hop and Hound. Really grassy nose, bold and bitter impressions. Big time autumn time hazy here full of garden, grassy hop flavors. Earthy malt background. Slight vegetable hop quality. Unique hazy with the character these hops bring out, and stick around late on the palate.

Enjoyed on tap at Hellbent Taproom, Wenatchee. Clean golden pour with plenty of foam head and sticky lacing. Nose is a good mix of grassy and citrus hops. Cream body with tons of bold hop flavors coming through. Moderate bitter, smooth finish. Refreshing with a bold constant. Certainly what I look for in the vague style of IPA. Really enjoyable brew here.

16 oz can poured with winter hitting as hard as it probably can around here, so I suppose my timing is perfect for this. Pours a thick, caramel muddy brown color with a thin foam head. Spruce tips make an immediate impact here. Almost minty with the forest cool palate. Smooth texture, almost creamy. Somewhat rich malts are constant. Drinks easy for a stronger winter ale. Very flavorful. Very unique. Fun brew here.

Can from Food Co-op, Bellingham, WA
Black colour, small light brown head. Roasted malt and roasted nuts, soft mouthfeel, with strong body, but just mild sweetness, and the alcohol is not too noticeable.
Pure and balanced, very good.
