Draft pour pint at Hop and Hound, Bothell. Really hazy, apple copper pour with a thin patchy head. Very quiet on the aroma. A malt.l forward flavor, nutty, and a bit warming. A good IPA for the wintertime. A slight hint of peach towards the end. One of the better I’ve had from these guys in a while. Enjoyable beer here.

Draft 12 oz pour at Populuxe, Seattle. What a weird freaking beer this is. Strange iced tea in a glass. Hazy golden pour. Smells just like herbal tea. Flavor is soapy, peppercorn, heavy tea, cool herbal, some spice. Rough beer to drink here. Too weird, and can’t say I enjoy this. Sorry guys, good saisons in the past, but this version was a complete miss.

Sampled from the tap at the brewery. Pours a clear pale yellow with a white head that dissipates to third edges. Aroma has grass and citrus with some light grains backing. Flavor is grass forward with citrus and light earthy grain backing.

Sampled from the tap at the brewery. Pours a clear yellow brown with a yellow brown head that dissipates to the edges. Aroma has sweet grains, dark fruits and caramel with some flora backing. Flavor has earthy dark grains with a bit of earthy dark fruits and roast.

Sampled from the tap at the brewery. Pours a hazy earthy dark brown with a near whiter head that dissipates to the edges and laces slightly. Aroma has earthy dark grains and a nice pine note with grass backing. Flavor has a nice pine note that combines well with grass and pine notes.

Sampled from the tap at the brewery. Pouts a clear deep brown with a gold hue and a tan head that dissipates to the edges. Aroma has earthy grains and bread plus some light toffee. Flavor has earthy grains, bread and a hint of toffee.

Sampled from the tap at the brewery. Pours a clear deep amber with a near white head that dissipates to the edges. Aroma has earthy grains and light spice with some pumpkin underlying. Flavor has light spice, pumpkin and a good amount of earthy grains.

Sampled from the tap at the brewery. Pours a clear pale gold with a white head that dissipates slowly to the edges and laces. Aroma is mild with light citrus, rye and a slight sweetness. Flavor has more citrus with grass and rye notes supporting.
