Bottle sample at a tasting at Tom L’s place. Thanks Tom L. Pale yellow with almost no head. Aroma of diacetyl, some skunky hops, DMS. Sweetish flavor, with butter, honey, and bitterish skunky hops. Light-bodied, some diacetyl in the mouthfeel. Pretty bad.

At a tasting, thanks, almost no head, a little intense and just a touch hazy yellow color, light honey malty aroma, honey candy flavor, very light bitterness. Not good.

Clear yellow without head. Aroma is cooked corn, honey, tropic fruit (apparently bacuri?), sweet. Taste is a little paper, slight fresh sourness, some fruity sweetness, good if there were no paper. Pretty watery with some more sourness in the finish. Some fine bubbled carbonation. Ok actually, but not as fruity as I thought.

A light yellow beer, a head is medium and white. Aroma has malts, sweetness, some grass, pure. Taste has maltyness, some grassy bitterness, the aftertaste is unlikely musty. Almost medium bodied. Boring beer.

Bottle at GJBF Osaka 2016. Nose of chocolate, soy, berries. Almost black. Acai berries come though like phenols, actually, then there is chocolate and some soy. Decent.

Bottle at the GJBF 2016. A ruby brown with a fruity tangy malt aroma, it’s medium bodied with a good mouthfeel and a round carbonation. Pretty good job, not bad it’s a decent stout though while the stout comes through the fruit got lost in the shuffle as I didn’t get any acai from this at all.

Bottle at GJBF 2016. This pale is a bright gold and made with the Bacuri fruit which gives it a very unique aroma: a sharply tart candyish quality and I then a very like notes. The taste isn’t as nice as the nose, some fruit syrup, Bacuri candy, diacetyl (?) but alright. I wish the taste had lived up to the aroma.

Golden and clear. Thin head. Fruity aroma with slightly toasty malts. Mellow malty palate, a bit sweet, with just subtle influence of unknown Amazonian fruits.
