Bottle at the GJBF 2016. A ruby brown with a fruity tangy malt aroma, it’s medium bodied with a good mouthfeel and a round carbonation. Pretty good job, not bad it’s a decent stout though while the stout comes through the fruit got lost in the shuffle as I didn’t get any acai from this at all.

Bottle at GJBF 2016. This pale is a bright gold and made with the Bacuri fruit which gives it a very unique aroma: a sharply tart candyish quality and I then a very like notes. The taste isn’t as nice as the nose, some fruit syrup, Bacuri candy, diacetyl (?) but alright. I wish the taste had lived up to the aroma.

Golden and clear. Thin head. Fruity aroma with slightly toasty malts. Mellow malty palate, a bit sweet, with just subtle influence of unknown Amazonian fruits.

Bright golden-brown colour with a thin head. Comes across strong and boozy with lots of caramel. Sweet, but also a bit thin. Not finding much of the promised Amazonian herbal influence.

330ml bottle @ Shrewsbury Beer Share, May 16, courtesy of Simon. Many thanks. Pours clear golden yellow, minimal head. Lovely fruity aroma, which I assume is the Bacuri fruit. Taste is light and fresh with a great Bacuri presence. Clean, fruity and refreshing.

330ml bottle. Clear pale golden colour with a thin white head which rapidly dissipates. Aroma of pale malts with a nice citrus hit. Flavour is sweet, citrussy tropical fruit, malt. It’s similar to (and better than) a Corona with lime wedge, or a Desperados without the chemically taste. Texture is oily-watery and the carbonation is soft making it seem a little flat, apart from that it’s a nice refreshing beer, good after spicy food.

Sample slightly aged Fast gone white head over clear copper beer. Soapy, perfumey nose, garden vegetables. Woody-bitter taste, bit of caramel; empty finish. Slight dry-out effect, especially dry finish, light body. OK, maybe they have still somewhat to learn, either this is a bit old for an IPA. Txs for bringing, Stef!

Amber and hazy, has a herbal aroma. Tastes like a chewy DIPA with a slight orangey note, and a touch of that herbal character, subdued by the heavy bitterness. Im not sure what herb erva chama is, other than it being native to Brazil.

Medium brown. Lots of chocolate character but it’s not chocolate. Cupulate is an Amazonian plant that is similar to cacao, but different. Sweeter, has a nice chocolate character, good mellow bitterness for balance.
