The Aromas are citrus, soap and caramel. Flavors are like nose, some rotten sweetness up front, little bitter and somewhat unpleasant flavors. Okay body and I'm dumping the rest.

Pour is a hazy copper with a small white head. Aroma is kind if candy sugar and some hop resin. Flavor is a bit of sweet malt and a little bitter hop. This is nothing special. If your going to add Iowa grown hops why brew this with a heavy malt bill that covers up all the hops? Meh at best.

Sampled from the tap at GTMW 2019. Pours a near clear yellow gold with a white head that dissipates slowly to the edges. Aroma has citrus and pine with some grass and light grains backing. Flavor has light earthy citrus, earthy grass, some grains and a bit of pine.

Sampled from a bottle this beer poured a black color with a medium sized foamy brown head that left decent lacing. The aroma was faint overall with malt, a bit of dough and fruity hops. The flavor was roasty with anise, vanilla, caramel, cocoa and coffee. Long finish. Moderately full bodied and smooth.

12oz bottle. I really wasn't that impressed with this when I sampled it at Dubuque on Ice 2019, but I am finding the bottle to be very enjoyable. Unfiltered, chunky, brown body. Thin beige head. Huge quality whiskey (whisky?) tone. Big peat notes, but also fitting and well incorporated into the style. A really well done beer. Well attenuated, not sticky. Excellent.

Bottle: Bubbly, light honey-gold with a huge, craggy white head. Strong grapefruit and peel aroma. Taste is sweet tangerine, pink grapefruit, sweet, clean grain malt. Creamy and sweet....juicy. Light citrus-peel bitter. Really Nice.

Bottle: Clear amber with a small beige head. Aroma of toasted grains, nuts. Taste is sweet caramel malt, grains. Nothing overly special about this one, but.....it just hit the spot....really liked the flavor and feel of it. Wish I had another one or twelve right about now.
