Draft. Bourbon and chocolate malt aroma. Hazy golden yellow with small head. Strong boozy bourbon and chocolate malt flavor. Like liquid bourbon balls - works very well.

Draft. Coffee malt and light pepper aroma. Black with small head. Sweet chocolate malt up front - then comes the burn. Nice balance, strong burn. Very nice.

Draft (growler). Light ash and chocolate/coffee malt aroma. Dark brown with small head. Sweet chocolate and coffee malt flavor with mildly bitter ashy finish. Tasty.

Draft. Nutty chocolate and dried cherry raisin malt aroma. Dark chestnut with minimal head. Sweet raisin, dried apple and caramel malt flavor. No carbonation - smooth as silk. Just a hint of alcohol in the finish. A delicate beer which is quite shocking for an Eisbock.

Draft sample @ Indy Winterfest. Chocolate malt, coffee, and ashy aroma. Black with a moderate tan head. Chocolate, coffee, ash, and chili which produced a nice moderate warmth at the back of the throat. Medium full body, soft carbonation.

Tap: Cloudy brown with a beautiful reverse-cascade dark tan head. Espresso aroma, nutty malts. Smooth, cream, oatmeal, coffee, toffee flavor. Sweet with a nice earthy bitter. Really great.

Tap: Pours deep, hazy red with a creamy tan head. Berry, cherry aroma..... Sweet berry flavor, a little baked bread. Very soft...cotton-candy mouthfeel... Mild....alcohol is well hidden. Very good.

Draft: Pours black with a short, heavy, dark tan head. Chocolate, coffee, roast aroma. Malty, chocolate, slightly acidic coffee flavor. Building pepper warmth. A little thin, but very good.

Draft: Cloudy, deep, woody brown with a small tan head. Sweet caramel, berry aroma. Taste is sweet....dark fruit, toffee. Creamy. Very nice....easy drinking, alcohol is well hidden.
