8th of 8 varieties out of an island variety pack. Nice gift. Pour is slight haze on lemony pale. Nose is certainly grapefruit. First taste is a tad bitter grapefruit medicine. Must say, this was the least liked out of 8. Has a sort of mild IPA hop attitude from the grapefruit, can't appreciate that. Towards the middle, I kinda get a little more used to it. Could use a tad more carbonation. Yea, that grapefruit remains somewhat annoying, yet its never artificial. I guess that's a bonus. They say the pomelo is pink inside but this does not taste like sweet pink, its more like your typical regular yellow bitter, with the grapefruit rinds and pulp included. It finishes with an almost bitter blood orange character. There, you have it.

12 oz can for 25 cents off the clearance shelf in a 3$ 12 pack variety pack. Eye's mostly clear and very light pale. Nose is peach fer sher, and maybe a tad artificial but nor certain, its pretty close to the real smell. Taste's certainly an attempt at peaces, it may be a little too forward, but hey; I don't really like peach beers after all. This is just a tick, it was in the variety pack. In the middle, the peach is a little more laid back and becomes somewhat balanced. Decent level of carbonation on the palate. OK, one more of these in the variety pack and I'm dome with Island for a few. This was probably the least liked beer so far out of tasting 7 different island styles.

12 oz can for 25 cents off the clearance rack; now that's cheap! Pour is crystal clear lighter pale. Clean light fresh neutral lager nose. Taste if pretty good for a cheap pale lager, one f the better pale lagers I've had for a while. Its clean, refreshing easy to drink and no real ill effects. Good level of carbonation too. Yes, a very friendly lager than most any macro pale lager lover will like. At 25 cents, i'm gonna go get the rest of these off the shelf. As good as any macro lager but perhaps cheaper. Nice virtuous, upright, outstanding and honorable finish too. Could drink a few more of these with no probs. Probably what all cheap macros strive to be.

Tall skinny 12 oz can. Pour is clear very light pale, almost like tinted water. Nose is just a hint of fruit perfume. First taste is pretty good, I'm not one for watermelon flavored beers but this really comes across very well balanced, its just a tad of watermelon in there and it lacks any artificial presence. Yea, its just as refreshing as a decently made seltzer. Pretty good clean finish too. So easy, so friendly. No bitterness what so ever. One of the better watermelon beers I've had in a long long time. Right up there with 21st Watermelon Funk, Dos Equis XX Lager Especial Watermelon and Schöfferhofer Watermelon Mint. What even makes this better is that I got it off the clearance rack for 25 cents! No lie! Heading back over to pick up the rest of the rack.

Tall skinny can for 25 cents off the clearance rack; now that's cheap! Looks like slightly pale tinted water. Barely any aroma, sortah like water? Good and bubbly on the palate. Quite easy to drink, no ill flavors at all, but you at least can tell it is beer. It is refreshing and I could easily drink a sixer of these. Probably would not appeal to somebody who likes pale ale, it comes across more like mildly beer flavored soda water. Either way, I like this; its easy to drink, non offensive and refreshing to an extent.

Tall skinny 12 oz can. Pour is slightly pale tinted water. Nose is artificial mango in nature. Taste is mild mango, and compared to other mango beers, this one is not in yer face with the mango flavors. I don't care for mango beers but this one is almost tolerable. Flavor is balanced. Needs more carbonation. In the end, this stuff almost comes across like flavored seltzer water and the beer is very hard to detect.

Tall skinny 12oz can for 25 cents off the clearance rack; now that's cheap! Barely smell the lime on top of a macro lager nose. Pour is super light pale. First taste is quite watered down, I'd say it almost like flavored seltzer but there is enough beer in the flavor to let you know it is beer. In teh middle I'm getting almost this perfumed taste thing happening. Weird but not offensive. Very easy to drink, could do a sixer of these on a hot day, which BTW it is 90 out there today! Yes, interesting and refreshing. Not really as tart or sweet as the description says, but its there. Well balanced. Good level of carbonation to the end and that's much appreciated. Burping some lime peel. An overall very friendly brew that hides any possible alky content well. I could say this is the epitome of a lawn mower beer.

Can. Clear gold in color with a large head. Aroma and taste was rather tasty lager. Grains, well balanced.
