Description
As a microbrewery, our focus is on providing a wide variety of beer styles in addition to fostering the local interest in the brewing of craft beer. We consider brewing to be a craft and, whether you are brewing in your garage or on a huge production system, brewing a good beer and sharing it with others is a great way to bring together friends or even an entire community. We are proud to live in a town that is currently supporting two brewpubs and a nanobrewery, and look forward to doing our part to be a leader in the craft brewing revolution.

People in the U.P. work hard, take great pride in what is produced locally and have answered the call in supporting and improving the local economy. The name "Ore Dock Brewing Company" was chosen because we see our local ore docks as grand and iconic reminders of Marquette and the U.P.'s past, present, and future identity. We hope to provide a product and establishment that our community can be proud of for many years to come!

On cask at MBGSF 2015. A cloudy amber pour with a white head. Caramel butterscotch aroma, while the flavor is more citrus butterscotch and generally fruity. Nice.

The appearance had a deep dark brown color close to black with a bar pour’s kind of slim white head that didn’t leave any lacing.
The smell had a really nice roasty, dry coffee bean, some cocoa and an underlying nuttiness coating the malts that were there.
The taste was mainly the same with a slight roasty cocoa aftertaste that led to a dry finish.
On the palate, this one sat about a light to medium on the body with a fairly nice sessionability about it. The carbonation seemed good for the style and for me as it moved across my tongue in a fairly nice creamy to roasty texture.
Overall, this was a good Porter that I would have again.

The appearance was a hazy yellow/white/orange color with a bar pour’s kind of slim white head that barely left any lacing.
The smell had a semi-yeasty, light banana, refreshing citrus - leading to a sweet orange and also had a nice bittersweet florally intertwining clementine aroma.
The taste was basically the same as the smell - just wonderfully mixing those flavors ever so well.
On the palate, this one sat about a light to medium on the body with a decent sessionable quality about it. There was a super nice sessionable quality about it. I probably pound this all day on a beach in Michigan.
Overall, Witbier or Belgian IPA, hmmmm....honestly I don’t care, I’ll take another. Hmmm...sounds like I need to get back to Michigan.

The appearance was a hazy golden amber color with a one finger white foamy head that dissipated within about forty seconds. It left a light lacing in a messy sort of way.
The smell had a strong spicy to piney scent with a fair lingering grapefruit coming forth in a nice bittersweet sort of way.
The taste took those aromas and mellowed it with a light raspberry/cherry sort of graceful yet tart flavor.
On the palate, this one sat about a medium on the body with more of a sipping quality about it. The carbonation was there but wasn’t overbearing as there was a nice bittersweet sharp quality running over my tongue.
Overall, good DIPA that I would have again.
